CARING FOR YOUR BIRDBATH

Your birdbath has been coated/sealed with KBS Clear Diamond Finish. If desired, you may recoat your birdbath in a few years. KBS makes a clear diamond finish spray for about $20. Clean your birdbath as needed with a solution of Dawn and water. If you have well water or a lot of calcium in your city water and notice a white residue in your bath, use white vinegar and a soft brush to clean. If the problem is persistent, switch to distilled or purified water. Water softeners also prevent calcium buildup but may not be connected to your outside supply so you have to select a spicket that has treated water.

Last, your birdbath must be brought into a area that won't freeze for the winter to prevent damage to the painting and birdbath.
